How will people travel in the future? What factors influence their mobility behaviour? What influence will technological and social changes have?
This and much more is shown in the new exhibition “SBB – Mobility of the Future” at the Swiss Museum of Transport. The journey from the past to the future takes place in a futuristic train in which mobility can be experienced in an entertaining way.
The four exhibition modules cover a wide range of topics, from the pioneering spirit of the early days to the developments in rail travel, digitalisation and the mobility of the future. Visitors can look forward to surprisingly edited historical photographs, pictogram holocubes that show the extent to which the world of mobility is already digitalised today, or an interactive game in which visitors embark on a fictitious journey to the future.
Participation is writ large here: Visitors can develop their own ideas, wishes and visions in an opinion lab. In this way, a constantly changing picture of the mobility of tomorrow is created.
