Since June 2013, Orange offers the fourth generation of mobile technology (4G) in ten cities. In order to give the people an understanding of the new possibilities, Orange started a roadshow in Zurich in October. This roadshow was then taken to Bern and ended in Lausanne in November 2012.
On behalf of the GCGroup, we were the general contractor in all technical and constructional matters. High expectations had to be met by our event architecture team. The construction had to function despite the weather conditions in October and November (wind, rain and snow). Further, it needed to be possible to set up and dismantle the construction quickly, as the time slots were small. The planning and implementation of the technology (Audio, video and lighting) were also part of our area of responsibility, as well as the logistics of the roadshow.
