Since 2020, the long-established German company MEIKO has been offering its visitors a new, multi-faceted visitor experience at its headquarters in Offenburg. In order to make the brand, values and solutions of the manufacturer of professional washing technology as well as cleaning and disinfection technology for hospitals and care facilities tangible, the previous visitor management system was revised and its structure redesigned. Habegger has succeeded in staging a visitor tour that represents MEIKO’s values and at the same time allows visitors to experience innovative technologies and solutions in an unconventional and stimulating way. Quality, efficiency, hygiene and safety – these four basic values guide us through the new visitor centre and are given a visible shape by the unifying element of “water”.
At the heart of the visitor centre is the source of cleanliness. The multimedia, circular space is positioned in the middle of the exhibition. Rotating panels transform the space into a self-containable, immersive experience. Upon entering, the visitor is immersed in the history of MEIKO’s origins. The guide’s on-site narration is accompanied by a 360° film animation that makes the brand experience tangible from every angle. A further highlight is the object known as “Pfuigugug”: it is a unique, kinetic exhibit that turns dirty dishes into clean ones with a flick of the wrist. Outside the source, highlights from MEIKO’s product solutions and innovations are presented. Original objects as well as educational, multimedia productions support the guide’s storytelling and long-term dissemination of information.
