The Kiddy Contest in Austria has been taking place for 19 years. By this, the singing competition for children certainly has reached cult status and already outlasted the Mini Playback Show. Therefore, it´s not surprising the tickets to the show at the Vienna city hall sold out quickly. The music producer Norman Weichselbaum writes new, German lyrics, which match international pop hits and are sung by the children.
SIVision Broadcast, commissioned by „Operator“, was responsible for the TV production, which was live broadcasted on the Austrian TV channel „Puls 4“. Eight cameras, a Steadicam and a camera crane were used.
