The Energy Air open air event at the Stade de Suisse in Bern has already been held several times with many great acts. We supplied the stage, audio, LED and lighting design as well as the technical planning and realisation for this gigantic show. The kinetics, power infrastructure and backline were also part of the job. These enormous dimensions in figures: 60 tonnes of material, 380 individually controlled spotlights, 184 loudspeakers, 600 square metres of video surface and 96 technicians for the show. The show is also broadcast by us for those at home.
In the role of host broadcast partner, Habegger was responsible for capturing the most beautiful and emotional moments with a setup of over ten cameras to broadcast them to people’s living rooms. At the same time as the live TV broadcast on the “blue music” channel, a live stream was generated for the online community and over three hours of content was produced for the social media channels.
When Energy Air was first staged at Bern’s Stade de Suisse in 2013, there was a huge rush for tickets in the run-up to the event and a great deal of demand right from the start. Today, the event is the concert highlight for the Energy community with an audience of over 60,000 music fans.
To mark Energy’s anniversary in Switzerland, a long-awaited wish has now been fulfilled: Energy Air took place for the first time at the Letzigrund stadium in Zurich 20 years after the launch of Energy Zurich.
The tenth Energy Air in 2024 was a worthy anniversary edition and, at the same time, a home game – the music event took place on the Bernexpo site for the first time – the perfect open-air atmosphere. Habegger was on site with a crew of around 35 people to produce the show. Habegger thus continued a long-standing partnership.
