On the occasion of the World Economic Forum from 22 – 25 January 2019, we had the pleasure of completely redesigning and furnishing two rooms rented in Davos for Embassy of India. These were used for meetings and to establish business relationships during the annual meeting.
For this assignment, we wrote the scenographic space concept and took care of everything from creation to realisation. On a total of 170 m2, a Ministry Lounge was created for the reception of invited guests, as well as a CEO Lounge, which was mainly used for exchanges and as a workplace for the employees. We installed new walls and floors, set up screens and provided the appropriate furniture and decoration. A special feature was the installation of a glazed meeting room. During this time, in addition to the technical support on site, we also took over the organisation of the operational infrastructure.
The challenge of this assignment was especially the timing. Our project team had a time window of just under three weeks for the entire implementation. Within a very short time, all the equipment was organised, installed and the premises converted accordingly so that they could be put into use on time for the start of the WEF.
