The all-round modernisation of the digital advertising and information system in the Hallenstadion in Zurich was completed in February 2014. As technology partner of the venue, we bore responsibility as the overall project manager. This included manufacture, installation, entire implementation and startup of all the software and hardware as well as coordinating all the suppliers and partners.
The CMS (Content Management System) behind this new solution offers plenty of comfort for a flexible use. Regardless of whether it is used for advertising, as an information channel or for real-time-content – the new Digital Signage System makes the Hallenstadion Zurich an even more attractive event location.
All 200 displays in the hall and in the exterior spaces can be operated individually – in groups as well as separately. Each content display can be preprogrammed chronologically. Four external live-inputs can be used, for example, for live camera images from the in-house entertainment tool and the whole line-up of Swisscom TV is available. The controlling of the system is browser-based, therefor accessible from anywhere. An integrated graphic tool for the planning of the content and its design offers comfortable possibilities to the authors.
