Habegger had previously the opportunity to work with BKW on the shutdown of the Mühleberg nuclear power plant and the development and implementation of the associated information centre. The successful cooperation ultimately led to a further project: the BKW Roadshow.
To explain the internal changes within BKW to the company’s employees, Habegger was hired to plan the complete realisation of the roadshow concept before implementing it together with BKW. The aim was to create several hybrid events, each providing 150 employees with information in an interactive format – with a flexible, mobile and virtual approach. The idea of a roadshow emerged: in 13 locations throughout Switzerland, but also simultaneously accessible digitally from anywhere in the world.
Then came Covid-19 and live events were no longer an option. Habegger reacted quickly to the new conditions and created in-house streaming studios. These studios also became the ideal alternative to the BKW Roadshow and it was quickly decided to switch from the planned hybrid events to streaming events.
Habegger adapted the studio design to match the BKW corporate design and the necessary interactive tools were also optimised for the new event concept within a very short time. This meant that the events could nevertheless take place and information could be provided to all of the employees – with a flexible, mobile and virtual approach.
