Neighbours become work colleagues. As business successors, we have acquired a stake in the carpenter’s workshop Gil & Ruiz AG.
For around 20 years we have enjoyed a neighbourly cooperation with the carpentry team led by José Ruiz at Riedthofstrasse 124. This partnership has now been strengthened by a succession arrangement.
“We had been wanting to expand our production for some time as part of our long-term business plan. When I approached José Ruiz with a specific enquiry last year, I found that the door was open to me because his long-standing partner would shortly be leaving the company,” explains Jürg Schwarz, CEO of Habegger.

Customers will benefit
In addition to producing high-quality interior fittings and unique designer pieces, the carpenter’s workshop specialises in event construction, and perfectly complements our portfolio. “Both companies’ customers will benefit from this,” says Jürg Schwarz. They will gain unique conceptual and structural know-how from a single source. This concentrated expertise is a particular advantage when developing visitor centres and flagship stores and constructing exhibits.
