Three of our anniversary celebrants tell us more about their highlights in their time at Habegger so far and give us a glimpse behind the scenes.
Fabio joined Habegger as a software developer straight after completing his apprenticeship. He has now been working for five years as a software developer in the IT department.
“During these five years, I have not only gained valuable experience, but also witnessed how exciting and varied a job can be. There are always new things to discover and learn in software development – we are constantly evolving in IT. I am most pleased when I see that the projects I have implemented are actually being utilised and are providing employees with real added value. It’s a great feeling to know that my work has a positive impact on the company and helps to improve processes or solve problems. I look forward to working on more exciting and innovative projects in the future that will help Habegger move forward and also help employees to work more efficiently.”
Fabian started as a project manager at Habegger five years ago and has since realised many interesting construction projects. This year, Fabian is celebrating his fifth anniversary and can look back on an exciting time and challenging installations.
“What gives me the most pleasure is when a project that initially seems impossible becomes possible thanks to teamwork, collaboration with our internal specialist departments, all key external stakeholders and the client. Collaboration is particularly intensive when it comes to exclusive, diverse and challenging projects. Every permanent installation is individual, and that’s what makes my job so exciting. I look forward to working with our project team to further develop the project formats and break new ground together with our clients.”
His love for live music brought the passionate concert- and festival-goer to Habegger. After making a lateral move into the industry in 2019, the trained chemical laboratory technician first worked as an audio assistant and is now an audio technician in the Engineering team. In these five years, Sam has learnt a lot and worked on a wide variety of projects: From general meetings and studio productions to employee events and major sporting and public events.
“My previous highlights at Habegger were the Seaside Festival in Spiez and White Turf in St. Moritz, both of which I was able to contribute to several times in various positions. The highly diverse environment and the changing project teams make my day-to-day work very varied and creative, but also challenging, because no two days are the same.”
